Malachia Hoover is a graduate student in the Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine doctoral program at Stanford University. Her research interests are to determine the role of skeletal stem cells in the homeostasis and regeneration of the vertebral column. Her future goal is to translate her findings in the context of musculoskeletal disorders, such as intervertebral disc disease.
